Gardening on Wealden clay
Cranleigh sits on the heavy Weald Clay. It's fertile and great for roses and many shrubs, but slow to drain and prone to waterlogging in winter and cracking in summer. Lawns compact easily and patios built without a proper sub-base can move. We deal with clay every day. We install French drains and soakaways where needed, improve soil structure in beds, and build paving and bases on deeper, well-compacted foundations.
Larger gardens and rural properties
Many properties around Cranleigh have large gardens, paddocks, long driveways and hedges. We offer regular grounds maintenance, hedge cutting, clearance of overgrown areas, and operated digger hire for bigger projects.
We're based in Guildford and also cover Godalming and Woking.
